  • Do you offer International Shipping?
    To my dearest international friends, I have ceased international shipping on my site and also at my Etsy storefront for the time being due to a large amount of packages gone missing fairly recently. Until I feel reassured that this won't happen again, I don't feel comfortable shipping overseas as I'm worried the packages won't make it to their destinations. For this reason, I recommend using a service through a website (ajevie.com), whereby someone in the US places your order for you through me, I ship it to them, and they ship it to you. Ajevie has had much higher success in getting their packages delivered, probably for magical or supernatural reasons, so I highly recommend them! I will definitely make an announcement via social media when I open up international shipping again, but for the foreseeable future, I'm recommending you use Ajevie to place your order!   • What if I want to order something that's discontinued or an old formula of my favorite scent?
    I know you've been hoarding that sample size since forever ago, and I'm here to say you can have more! I'm currently offering my discontinued or old formulas (if still available) in sizes 5 mL ($14) and 10 mL ($28). There is a limit of 10 mL per scent, as they're in extremely limited supply. When these scents are gone, they're gone for good, and I would like everyone who wants some to have a chance to relive old favorites - I hope you understand. All the scents I have available are listed under the Past Formulations portion of our website, and are split in two groups, A-M and N-Z. Simply add your favorite to your cart!
  • How do you use perfume oil? How do you store it?
    Make sure you store your perfume oils in a cool, dark, and dry place for optimal longevity. They're like little vampires, only way prettier-smelling. My scent blends tend to improve with a few weeks/months of aging. Your oils are blended with fractionated coconut oil, which has a fairly long shelf life and little to no natural scent. Please try to give your scents a little time to rest straight out of the mail - they've been jostled about (sometimes in extreme weather conditions) and they're not too fond of that. You'll always get the best impression of the true scent with about a few days to a week of rest. They're sleepy little babies, so shhhhh, give them some time to really shine! ALWAYS be sure to patch test any perfume oil on an inconspicuous area of skin before slathering it on. It's a lot easier to avoid a potential allergic reaction than to treat one. Even if you don't have sensitive skin, PATCH TEST THESE BAD BOYS. Please, for the love of all that is holy, use common sense when applying perfume oils. They aren't eye drops, they won't cure your Brazilian wax burns, and trust me, they don't taste good. Oh! And it's not a great idea to use on pets, those who are pregnant, or tiny humans, either.
  • What are these perfumes made of?
    My fragrances consist of various blends of skin-safe fragrance oils, botanically-infused oils, and essential oils; all mixed with a carrier oil (fractionated coconut oil) to soothe skin and cater to those with even the most sensitive epidermis. Fractionated coconut oil is widely used in massage therapy and has an excellent shelf life! Message me if you have an allergy to coconut oil and I can work something out with you - I also have a small stock of other carrier oils that might work for you. ;) These oils are phthalate free, vegan (even for perfumes with honey notes!), and paraben free; contain no nasty fillers or by-products, and are always cruelty free and alcohol free. Each batch is lovingly hand-crafted at the time of your order to deliver a unique scent experience! For this reason, I recommend lots of rest, rest, rest for your new little perfume babies.
  • Do you accept returns or exchanges?
    Due to the intimate nature of perfume oils, AOE does not accept returns or exchanges. I mean, can you blame me? I don't know where you've been! ;) However, if there is an issue with your order, please shoot me a message and I'll do my darnedest to resolve things. If you're not sure you'll like a scent, the best option is to purchase the 5 scent sampler set! (Say that 3 times fast) - that way you can try things out practically guilt-free. Sometimes if you're nice, I'll slip a free sample in the bag, but shhhhhh, keep this on the DL.
  • How will you ship them? When will I get them?
    I mail perfume oils as follows: - the cap/top of all full-size glass bottles is taped with easy-to-remove washi tape - sample vials are placed in a zip-top baggie and sealed - bottles and vials are swaddled in bubble wrap like the sweet babies they are and placed in a water resistant bubble mailer I ship using USPS First Class Mail with tracking. I can ship using USPS Priority Mail 1-3 day with insurance if you message me to request an upgrade or let me know that you have a rush order. Perfumes will usually ship within 7-14 business days of the order, though this time may vary/increase depending on if there is a new release. I typically update my TAT (turnaround time) in a banner on the home page of my website!
  • What happens if my package is lost or damaged?
    I am super duper sorry if it gets lost in transit, but there's not a whole lot I can do once it leaves my hands. I'll do what I can for you though (including but not limited to pouring one out for our lost souls). Usually I can file an insurance claim for lost packages, but the USPS Overlords demand that I wait a whole month (30 days) before doing this. I know it's a long time to wait, but such is life. Receiving broken merch totally sucks! If your sweet haul is damaged, send me a photo of the damage and I'll work something out on a case-by-case basis, either replacing or refunding your order.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    Order cancellations are accepted within 2 days of order placement and will be fully refunded, no questions asked. After this 2 day period, I cannot offer cancellations as each perfume is blended to order!
